Returns & Exchanges

 

Please remember that:

Sample Dresses - Eligible for refund or exchange within 28 days of receipt. You must let us know of your wish to return within 14 days of receipt.

As our sample dresses are vastly reduced in price, please be aware that if the sample dress is not returned within 28 days of receipt, we reserve the right to  invoice you for the full price of the dress. 

Custom Made Dresses - As these are made to your specific requirements, these are not eligible for refund or exchange and are exempt from returns under the Consumer Contract Regulations.



Refunds 

(Sample Dresses Only)

We hope you are happy with the order of your Sample Dress. 

Please follow the instructions below to return your item for either a refund or an exchange.

Please DO NOT return items to the Head Office address shown on our website, as we do not accept returns there. 

1)  Within 14 days of receipt of your sample dress, please send an  email to us at  hello@loulousbridalboutique.co.uk to let us know of your wish to return. Please also let us know if you wish to receive a refund or if you wish to exchange it for another sample dress or as part payment towards a custom made order.  You will receive a response within 2 working days and will be emailed a Returns Slip and details of how to return your order. Our Working Days are Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays)

2)  To be eligible for a refund or exchange, you must return the order to us within 28 days of you receiving it. 

We strongly advise you to return your order by tracked delivery (for example Royal Mail Recorded)  as we cannot be held responsible for any item that does not arrive back with us. We will not issue a refund unless the item is received back by ourselves. 

As our Sample Dresses are sent out by Freepost, please note that return postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer. 

As our sample dresses are vastly reduced in price, please be aware that if the sample dress is not returned within 28 days of receipt, we reserve the right to invoice you for the full price of the dress. 

3) When trying on your item can we respectfully request that you do not wear perfume, make-up or fake tan that can leave a residue on the dress. Please remove all jewellery before trying on the dresses to prevent accidental snagging of the dress. Please be careful with any zip fastenings. If the zip will not do up, please do not force it as this could damage the zip. 

We are unable to accept returns which has evidence of damage, odour, excessive handling or if these instructions have not been followed.  

Our items are quality checked before sending and so, on receipt of your item, our returns team will inspect it again. We aim to process all returns and refunds within 14 days of receipt.  

 

 

Important Information for Buyers Outside of the UK

Please ensure that you read the important information regarding our Returns Policy above in addition to the terms and conditions set out below.

In addition to the policy above: 

If you live outside of the UK and have to return an item to us for a refund we cannot be held liable for any customs charges that may be charged on the parcel's arrival back into the UK.  If this occurs, we will deduct any customs amount paid by us from any refund issued to you. We will provide evidence, of any customs amount paid by us, by request.  

If returning a sample dress for exchange, we will charge postage costs to send your exchanged item to you. 

We will allow up to 28 days (from the date the order was delivered to you) for the item to reach us to take into account International delivery times. 

Return Postage Costs are non refundable and are the buyers own responsibility.


Please remember that Sample Dresses are returnable but Custom Made items are non returnable.
